author of two acclaimed books for teenagers (one novel and one non-fiction), she
and her books have been inexplicably featured in the L.A.Times, New York
Magazine, Fox News, Time Out New York, and American Cheerleader Magazine.
Although the following disclosure is ludicrous enough that it may cause readers to
view this website as nothing but a series of lies, Robyn was named one of the Top 40

business world and the cheerleaders of America recognize her significant
contributions to, er, something. Robyn holds advanced degrees in the fields of:
Thrift-Shopping, Rubix-Cube-Solving, and Making Up Puns, as well as an honorary
degree in Sarcasm. She spends her free time having rigidly-structured debates with a
200+ year-old literary society whilst wearing an academic gown, and also performing
Heroic Acts of Bioethical Copy-editing. She also enjoys a good game of croquet and
most rock songs that involve the banjo. Over the years, Robyn has quit many
solidly-promising managerial-track careers such as: Improvisational Comedienne,
Magic Show Assistant, Stand Up Comedian, Sound Booth Operator, Debate Coach
and College Student. Yes, really. Her five favorite books are: A Separate Peace, I Am
The Messenger, Looking For Alaska, The Secret History and Babyji. Her five
favorite bands are: Kings of Convenience, Vampire Weekend, Belle & Sebastian, The
Smiths and Bob Dylan. Her best subjects are Calculus and Organic Chemistry. She
has never learned how to use Instant Messenger.
